Westrich Transport Ltd, a general freight carrier based in Surrey, BC, is hiring a full-time, permanent Truck and Transport Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of tractors and trailers. Position details Permanent, full-time — 40 hours per week On site at our Surrey shop 1 position available Start date: as soon as possible Main duties Adjust, repair and replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, including chassis, frame, cab, body, engine and drive train Service and repair air brake systems, steering, suspension and fuel systems Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical and electronic systems Adjust, repair and replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems, including structural, brake and electrical systems Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and CVIP-standard inspections Diagnose faults using diagnostic software and test equipment Road test vehicles to verify repairs Complete work orders, parts requisitions and maintenance records Follow WorkSafeBC and shop safety procedures How to apply Apply through this posting with your resume and details of your heavy duty truck and trailer repair experience.
