Bistro Bliss — North Battleford, Saskatchewan Bistro Bliss is hiring a full-time, permanent Restaurant Supervisor to lead our front- and back-of-house service team. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys running a busy floor, developing staff, and holding a consistent standard of food quality and guest service. Position details Employment type: Permanent, full-time Hours: 35–40 hours per week, including evenings, weekends and some holidays Start date: As soon as possible Location of work: On site at the restaurant, North Battleford, SK (no remote work) Positions available: 2 Main duties Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food Establish work schedules, service procedures and opening/closing routines Estimate and order ingredients, beverages and supplies; receive deliveries and verify invoices Monitor inventory and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and food waste Train new and existing staff in job duties, portion control, sanitation standards and workplace safety Ensure that food quality, presentation, portion sizes and service consistently meet the restaurant's standards Resolve guest concerns and customer complaints promptly and professionally Address staffing shortages and coordinate replacement coverage during shifts Participate in the hiring and performance review of food service staff Assist with menu planning, costing and pricing, and help control food and labour costs Ensure compliance with Saskatchewan food safety, health and occupational health & safety regulations Prepare and submit daily shift reports, cash-outs and sales summaries to the owner/manager What we offer Competitive hourly wage above the regional and provincial median for this occupation Permanent full-time hours with a consistent schedule Staff meals during shifts Paid vacation and statutory holiday pay in accordance with The Saskatchewan Employment Act On-the-job training and a clear path to a management role A supportive, small-team environment where your input on the menu and service actually gets used Employer support for permanent residence Bistro Bliss is open to supporting a qualified candidate's application through the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) — International Skilled Worker: Employment Offer sub-category, subject to the employer completing the required SINP registration and Employer Position Assessment, and to program eligibility at the time of application. Requirements

Education Completion of secondary school is required A community college certificate or diploma in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management, or a related field is an asset Experience 1–2 years of experience in food preparation or food service is required Prior experience supervising or leading a team in a restaurant, café, hotel or catering setting is strongly preferred Candidates with several years of food service experience in place of formal post-secondary training will be considered Language English — spoken and written Work conditions On-site work in a restaurant; combination of standing, walking, and bending Evening, weekend and holiday shifts required Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally Transportation / housing Own transportation is an asset; the restaurant is accessible within North Battleford Housing is not provided by the employer
