— Terms of Service
The rules, written plainly.
By using Nimmi, you agree to these terms. Last updated May 18, 2026.
Operator: Jungle Labs Inc. · Surrey, BC, Canada · mowgli@junglelabsworld.com
The short version
- Nimmi helps you navigate Canadian immigration. We are not your lawyer or immigration consultant.
- When you book a paid service, a CICC-licensed RCIC at Newton Immigration handles your case professionally.
- The AI assistant gives general information, not legal advice. For your specific case, talk to the RCIC.
- You're responsible for the accuracy of what you tell us.
- We don't guarantee immigration outcomes — IRCC decides, not us.
- Be kind, don't break the law, don't try to break our app.
What Nimmi is
Nimmi is a software platform operated by Jungle Labs Inc. that helps people:
- Check their eligibility for Canadian immigration programs
- Store immigration documents securely in ImmiBook
- Track expiry dates on permits and passports
- Ask immigration questions to an AI assistant
- Connect with a CICC-licensed RCIC at Newton Immigration when professional help is needed
What Nimmi is NOT
- Not legal advice. Nothing in the app — including AI responses, eligibility results, or recommendations — constitutes legal or immigration advice. Always verify with a licensed professional.
- Not a guarantee. Eligibility checks are based on the data you provide. They are not IRCC decisions. We cannot promise any specific outcome.
- Not an authorized representative. Jungle Labs Inc. does not provide immigration consulting services. When you book a paid service, the licensed RCIC at Newton Immigration becomes your authorized representative — separately.
- Not free legal services. Free eligibility checks and document storage do not create a lawyer-client relationship.
Your account
- You must be 16 or older to use Nimmi.
- You must provide accurate information when signing up. Lying about your status can affect your immigration applications.
- You're responsible for keeping your password and account secure.
- You may not share your account with anyone else.
- One account per person.
- We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Free and paid services
Free: Eligibility checks, document storage in ImmiBook, AI chatbot conversations, document expiry reminders, callback requests.
Paid: RCIC-prepared applications (PGWP, Study Permit Extension, Express Entry, PNP, etc.). Prices shown in-app. You pay Newton Immigration directly. Refund policy follows CICC standards.
We may add or change services. We'll notify you of material changes by email or in-app.
Your responsibilities
- Provide truthful, accurate information.
- Upload only documents you have the right to upload.
- Do not upload illegal content, malware, or anyone else's personal data without consent.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform.
- Do not use Nimmi to impersonate someone else or misrepresent your immigration status.
- Be respectful in your communications with our team and AI.
The AI assistant
Our AI assistant ("Ask Nimmi") provides general immigration information using Anthropic's Claude AI:
- It can be wrong. AI makes mistakes — verify anything important.
- It does not replace professional legal advice.
- It cannot represent you to IRCC or any government body.
- For case-specific guidance, request a callback with our RCIC.
- We log conversations for safety, quality, and so Newton can review if needed.
Document storage (ImmiBook)
- Documents are encrypted at rest and in transit.
- Stored in Canada (AWS ca-central-1).
- Maximum 20 MB per file. Allowed types: PDF, JPG, PNG, HEIC, WebP.
- You may share documents with Newton Immigration — this is opt-in, per document.
- Deleting a document removes it from S3 within 24 hours.
- We recommend keeping your own copies.
Payments and refunds
- Paid services are invoiced and paid through Newton Immigration directly.
- Refunds follow CICC professional standards and Newton's published refund policy.
- If you're charged an incorrect amount, contact us within 30 days.
- Nimmi (Jungle Labs Inc.) does not currently process payments directly.
Liability
We try hard to make Nimmi work well, but:
- The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
- Our total liability to you is capped at the amount you've paid to Jungle Labs Inc. in the past 12 months (which is currently $0 for free users).
- This does NOT limit liability for fraud, gross negligence, or anything that can't be limited under Canadian consumer protection law.
Intellectual property
- The Nimmi platform, code, and design belong to Jungle Labs Inc.
- You retain ownership of everything you upload (documents, profile data, messages).
- You grant us a license to use your data solely to provide the service.
- Don't copy our logo, code, or content without permission.
Ending your relationship
You can delete your account anytime from Settings → Delete account. We honour this immediately.
We may terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law. We'll notify you unless legally prohibited.
Sections of these terms that should reasonably survive termination (e.g., liability, IP) survive.
Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Disputes go to the courts of British Columbia.
Before suing, please email us. Most issues we can solve directly.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email and in-app. Continued use after the change means you accept the new version.
